Day 1 : Los Angeles Arrival

Arrive at Los Angeles airport and a private vehicle will transfer you to your accommodation. Check-in and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

Experience panoramic views of the Los Angeles skyline as you embark on a 3.5 mile (5.6 km) hike to one of the highest peaks in Griffith Park. Follow your expert guide as they share captivating tales of Hollywood history. Snap some shots of the iconic Hollywood Sign before finishing your tour at the world-famous Griffith Observatory.

Day 3 : Los Angeles

After breakfast, enjoy the Los Angeles City Tour.

Today, on a guided tour, visit the world famous Santa Monica Pier, Venice Beach, Muscle Beach, the famous canals and skate park, Beverly Hills, Rodeo Drive, the Beverly Hills sign, the iconic Farmer's Market at the Grove (serving a variety a great dishes), The Griffith Park observatory (where you have a perfect photo opportunity of the Hollywood Sign), the Hollywood walk of fame (where you will find your favourite celebrities' stars), the Grauman's Theatre (where you will find famous hand and footprints), the Kodak Theatre (where the Oscars are held), and the Sunset Strip.

Day 4 : Los Angeles – San Diego

After breakfast, pick up your rental car from Los Angeles and drive towards San Diego. Arrive in San Diego and check in at the accommodation.

Later, explore San Diego by driving through popular destinations such as Old Town, Seaport Village, the Gaslamp Quarter, Balboa Park, and Little Italy.

Day 5 : San Diego

After breakfast, spend the day at leisure.

You can opt to check out one or two of the city’s major attractions, such as the San Diego Zoo (home to the giant pandas), San Diego Zoo Wildlife Park, SeaWorld San Diego in Mission Bay, or the USS Midway Museum, which sits on the San Diego Bay waterfront.

In the evening, visit Balboa Park and explore the gardens, architecture, and cultural sites of this urban oasis. Wrap up your day by visiting some of San Diego’s popular eateries and checking out the nightlife scene in Gaslamp Quarter.

Day 6 : San Diego - Flagstaff

After breakfast, drive towards Flagstaff. Arrive at the accommodation and check in.

Surrounded by majestic peaks and desertscapes, Flagstaff is best known as an outdoor adventure mecca and the gateway to the Grand Canyon—but the historic downtown and lively food and beer scene is enough to keep you entertained for the day.

Day 7 : Flagstaff - Lake Powell

Today, head north to Grand Canyon National Park, a natural wonder that you simply have to see to believe.

Spend the day discovering the distinct South Rim of the Canyon. Stop at one of the numerous overlooks, walk part of the Rim Trail or along historic Hermit Road, visit a Photo Hot Spot, or climb to the top of a stone Watchtower for panoramic views that extend over 100 miles on clear days.

When you've had your fill, continue north through the Navajo Nation Indian Reservation and on to Lake Powell, a vast blue man-made lake surrounded by beautiful sandstone walls.

Day 8 : Lake Powell

After breakfast, visit Antelope Canyon.

Few geological formations are as picturesque and awe-inspiring as Antelope Canyon with its tall winding walls and monumental sandstone sculpture. The canyon is known for its wave-like structure and the light beams that shine directly down into the openings of the canyon, creating a supernatural appearance. Explore the upper or lower Antelope Canyon and be awed by the spectacular dunes created by the wind, water and sand.

Next, visit Horsehoe Bend.

With a 1.5 mile round-trip easy hike, enjoy views of the Colorado River in Glen Canyon's Horseshoe Bend which has a depth of 270 meters from the view point. The name was inspired by its unusual shape, a horseshoe-shaped meander of the Colorado River.

Day 9 : Lake Powell - Bryce National Park

This morning, set out west for Kanab where the exhilarating scent of sage and cedar fills the clear southwest air, then head north to Utah's Bryce Canyon National Park.

Famous for its unique geology, Bryce Canyon consists of a series of horseshoe-shaped amphitheatres where the power of wind, water and geologic mayhem has etched the pink cliffs and shaped the colourful limestone rock into thousands of spires called "hoodoos".

Spend the remainder of the day hiking, camping, and stargazing beneath its dark night skies.

Day 10 : Bryce National Park - Las Vegas

Spend the morning exploring more of Bryce Canyon before heading west to Zion National Park.

Zion, Utah's oldest national park, is known for its incredible canyons and spectacular views. Stand beneath soaring spires and massive sandstone cliffs made of cream, pink, and red colours that soar into the bright blue sky. Visit the Emerald Pools and marvel at the Hanging Gardens. Enjoy hiking through the Narrows, wading through the Virgin River and gazing up at towering cliffs above.

Later today, continue west to Las Vegas, Nevada, a city that needs no introduction.

Both of these landmarks offer a look at Vegas from above—a great way to start your exploration. Or perhaps check out the Mob Museum, one of the most interesting things to do in Vegas, providing a little history in a city that’s always evolving. When evening rolls around, hop on the High Roller, the observation wheel at the LINQ Hotel and Casino. End your night by exploring the clubs and lounges of Sin City.

Later in the evening, enjoy a Las Vegas Helicopter Night Flight.

Death Valley National Park is known for being one of the driest, hottest, and lowest places in the United States. In fact, Badwater Basin, which sits 282 feet (86 meters) below sea level, charts as the lowest point in North America. This morning, travel north into the High Sierra where Tioga Road, the highest drivable pass in California, leads you into Yosemite National Park.

After breakfast, enjoy the San Francisco City Tour

Take a journey around San Francisco's top sights in a retro way on a vintage Volkswagen bus. You'll pass by neighbourhoods like Chinatown, Union Square, Pacific Heights, North Beach, Haight-Ashbury, the Marina, and the Castro, plus see the Palace of Fine Arts, Golden Gate Bridge, Golden Gate Park, Twin Peaks, and more.

After breakfast, proceed for the Golden Gate Bridge to Sausalito Guided Bike Tour

On this San Francisco bike tour, you’ll cycle across the Golden Gate Bridge from the city to the waterfront town of Sausalito. With a guide, ride from Fisherman’s Wharf to Marina Green and Crissy Field, and stop at Fort Point and Vista Point for photo ops of the bridge and San Francisco Bay. The 3-hour guided tour ends in Sausalito, where you are free to bike more on your own and return to the city at your leisure.

Day 20 : San Francisco – San Simeon

This morning, head south for an exhilarating trip along 17-Mile Drive from Pacific Grove to Pebble Beach.

Continue south along central California's scenic Pacific Coast Highway. This twisting, cliff-hugging route starts in Monterey and takes you through the quaint village of Carmel-by-the-Sea and Big Sur, where mountains plunge into the Pacific Ocean. Farther south, the landscape mellows to oak-studded hills as the road continues to San Simeon, home to Hearst Castle.

Day 21 : San Simeon – Los Angeles

Today, continue south passing through Pismo Beach and inland agricultural valleys of rolling countryside on your way to Solvang, the Danish Capital of America. The true flavour of Solvang lies in its quiet, tree-lined streets, half-timber Danish-style buildings, and ample shops, restaurants, and bakeries, not to mention its annual Danish Days festival.

Further south is Santa Barbara, often described as the American Riviera. With museums, Spanish colonial sites, and gorgeous coastline, Santa Barbara is the perfect spot to get out and discover the spirit of the West before arriving in the Los Angeles area.
