Day 1 : Anchorage Arrival

Upon arrival at Anchorage airport, transfer to your hotel and check-in. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure

Anchorage is the largest city in Alaska and is known for its mountainous, snowy scenery and numerous outdoor activities like skiing and hiking. It is known for its cultural sites, including the Alaska Native Heritage Center, which displays traditional crafts, stages dances, and presents replicas of dwellings from the area’s indigenous groups. The city is also a gateway to nearby wilderness areas and mountains including the Chugach, Kenai, and Talkeetna.

Day 2 : Anchorage

After breakfast, spend the day exploring Anchorage.

Explore Alaska's largest city as you visit top sites including the port, Earthquake Park, Lake Hood, and Bootleggers Cove. Gain further insight into Alaska’s indigenous cultures with a visit to the renowned Alaska Native Heritage Center. Alternatively, you can even go for day tours like dog sledding and bear viewing etc.

Day 3 : Anchorage - Seward

After breakfast, transfer to the train station to hop on board a 4-hour scenic train journey along Cook Inlet and into the glacier filled Kenai Mountains.

Upon arrival in Seward, explore the pristine waters of Resurrection Bay on this 6-hour Kenai Fjords cruise. Travel 55 miles (round-trip) along a rugged coastline and admire alpine glaciers nestled high in the mountains. Snap plenty of memorable photos as you sail past Bear Glacier and stop close to sea lion colonies and seabird rookeries. Along the way, keep watch for whales, sea otters, Dall’s porpoises, eagles and mountain goats.

Later, head to Seward and check in at the accommodation.

Day 4 : Seward - Talkeetna

After breakfast, depart for Talkeetna by bus. Upon arrival,  check in and enjoy the evening at leisure.

This charming pioneer town, with its own-block-long Main Street, is halfway between Anchorage to Denali and offers tons of adventures as well as great views of Mt. McKinley (it’s actually closer to the mountain than Denali’s Park entrance is). Talkeetna also has outstanding panoramic views of the Alaska Range that can be enjoyed and photographed from several spots as you wander through the town.

Day 5 : Talkeetna - Denali

After breakfast, enjoy the morning at leisure. In the evening, depart for Denali by bus. On arrival, check in at the accommodation.

Denali National Park and Preserve is located in Interior Alaska, centered on Denali, the highest mountain in North America. The towering granite spires and snowy summits straddles 160 miles of the Alaska Range and displays so much elevation, they are often lost in the clouds. The landscape is a mix of forest at the lowest elevations, including deciduous taiga, with tundra at middle elevations, and glaciers, snow, and bare rock at the highest elevations.

Day 6 : Denali

In the morning, depart on a bus tour into Denali National Park.

Stops will be made for viewing wildlife, such as bears and moose, and for taking photographs of the scenic landscape.

Day 7 : Denali – Anchorage

Today, spend the morning at leisure.

Later, catch a train back to Anchorage. On arrival, check in at the accommodation and enjoy the evening at leisure.

Today, a private vehicle will transfer you to Anchorage airport where you can catch your flight back home.
