After breakfast, drive past Eldhrun lava fields to reach Skaftafell National park beneath Vatnajokull Glacier.

Continue your journey and reach the glacier lagoon Jökulsárlón, one of the most spectacular sights in Iceland. Enormous icebergs constantly break off the glacier into the lagoon, melting slowly as they drift towards the sea nearby. Here, take a photo-stop and walk around the lagoon to enjoy this amazing landscape.

After breakfast, start your journey towards Langjökull, second largest glacier in Iceland.

First stop will be at Deildartunguhver, hot spring in Reykholtsdalur, Iceland. It is characterized by a very high flow rate for a hot spring (180 liters/second) and water emerges at 97 °C. It is the highest-flow hot spring in Europe.

Next, visit the most picturesque waterfall Hraunfossar & Barnafoss. Enjoy a 10 min walking trail.

Then, get up close and personal with the Langjokull Glacier.
