This itinerary covers the states of Alberta and British Columbia, taking you from glistening coastlines to the wild heart of the Canadian Rockies.

Day 1 : Vancouver Arrival

Arrive in Vancouver and pick up your vehicle from the car rental agency and transfer to the hotel where you can check in.

Later in the afternoon, visit FlyOver Canada.

FlyOver Canada utilizes state-of-the-art technology to give you the feeling of flight. You will hang suspended, feet dangling, before a 20-meter spherical screen where a film will whisk you away on an exhilarating 8-minute journey across Canada, from east to west. Special effects, including wind, mist, and scents, combine with the ride’s motion to create an unforgettable experience.

Day 2 : Vancouver

After breakfast, proceed on Grouse Mountain and Capilano Suspension Bridge Tour.

Prepare for the spectacular Sky ride to the Grouse Mountain, where you can catch a show in the Theatre in the Sky. Or hang out with the bears & other wildlife at the Grouse Mountain Refuge or visit The Refuge for Endangered Wildlife. You can also watch the world-famous Lumberjack Show, see Birds in Motion Demonstrations, go on scenic chairlift rides and mountaintop eco walks.

Later visit the Capilano Suspension Bridge that takes you to tower evergreens, serene trails and the award-winning attraction- Treetops Adventure. With 7 suspension bridges, some take you high above the forest floor for a thrilling encounter within the heart of the forest. The Cliff Walk is a heart-stopping long walkway taking you along the granite Cliffside of Capilano Canyon on a series of bridge, platforms and stairways cantilevered up to 30-stories above Capilano River. Guided eco-walks, a First Nations cultural experience and voices from the past at the Story Centre mingle with the sounds of live seasonal musical entertainment. Unmatched shopping at the Trading Post and West Coast cuisine round out this entertaining West Coast experience.

Later in the evening, explore Vancouver City.

Visit MacMillan Planetarium, Canada Place, Robson Street (known for its shopping), English Bay, Stanley Park, Granville Island, Chinatown, and Gastown.

Day 3 : Vancouver - Victoria

After breakfast, drive to Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal to board 90 Minute Ferry Ride on BC Ferries.

Sail across the Strait of Georgia, to reach Swartz Bay. Disembark and drive to Butchart Gardens one of Victoria’s most celebrated sites and highly rated amongst the most beautiful gardens in the world. Later make your way to Victoria’s Inner Harbour known for its maritime heritage and colonial charm.

Drive to your accommodation and check in.

Day 4 : Victoria - Whistler

After breakfast, drive towards Whistler with multiple stops on the way.

Your first stop will be for a Whale Watching Adventure. Staring at the picturesque marine wildlife, look out for orca whales, seals, porpoises and much more.

Later, drive to Nanaimo ferry terminal for a 100 minutes’ ferry ride on BC Ferries to Horseshoe Bay.

Disembark and continue driving on the spectacular Sea-to-Sky Highway towards Whistler enjoying the breathtaking views, scenic ocean vistas, mountains, and waterfalls.

Enroute, visit Shannon Falls and explore the dramatic canyons. Dropping from a whopping 335 meters (1,105 feet), Shannon Falls is BC’s third tallest falls and the Sea to Sky corridor’s most popular spot for a picnic. Around the base of the falls, you’ll find a well-maintained boardwalk and trail network to explore some of the area’s towering trees, old-growth stumps and the ever-present mist from the roaring falls above.

Arrive in Whistler and check in at the accommodation.

Day 5 : Whistler

After breakfast, follow the smells of fresh waffle cones to discover Whistler's best ice cream parlors, bistros and coffee shops.

Later in the afternoon, drive to Whistler village and take the exciting Peak-2-Peak Gondola ride. Ride the Guinness Book of World Records-holder for the longest and highest lift, connecting the peaks of Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains. Wait for the Silver Gondolas as they offer glass bottoms for the entire 360-degree experience.

Take advantage of several adventure activities in Whistler like, a ride on an All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV), Whistler Bungee that gives thrill-seekers an unforgettable experience, pedal to Alta Lake and then down to the River of Golden Dreams with an experienced naturalist guide.

Day 6 : Whistler – Kamloops

Today, drive to Kamloops.

The vast, rugged landscape of Kamloops showcases a variety of terrain, from silt bluffs to rolling hills, that attracts visitors from all over the world. Check out the unbelievable panoramic views of mountain ranges, lush agriculture fields, Kamloops Lake and the meeting of the North and South Thompson Rivers right in the heart of the city. 

Arrive in Kamloops and check in at the accommodation. Spend the remainder of the day exploring Kamloops.

Day 7 : Kamloops - Jasper

After breakfast, check-out and drive to Jasper.

Drive north along the Thompson River through the Yellowhead Pass to Jasper. The mountains part to reveal the aquamarine, glacier-fed lakes perched above the emerald valleys and the grazing elk of Jasper National Park.

Arrive in Jasper and check in at the accommodation. Spend the remainder of the day at leisure.

Day 8 : Jasper

After breakfast, spend the day exploring Jasper.

Experience the uniquely beautiful landscape of Jasper National Park where history is set amid some of the most rugged peaks in the Rockies. Explore the town of Jasper town where you can visit Athabasca Viewpoint, Maligne Canyon and Maligne Lake. At Maligne Canyon, stroll along the 50-meter walls and learn about its unique underground water system.

Later, enjoy a boat cruise on Maligne Lake. You can also visit the Miette Hot Springs, go for white water rafting, sit on the Jasper Skytram and do some sky gazing.

Day 9 : Jasper - Lake Louise

After breakfast, drive to Lake Louise via the Icefields Parkway.

Linking Lake Louise with Jasper, the Icefields Parkway is one of the most beautiful journeys on the planet. It is a 232 km stretch of double-lane highway winding along the Continental Divide through soaring rocky mountain peaks, icefields and vast sweeping valleys.

Drive to the Columbia Icefields Discovery Centre and take the Ice Explorer Ride which takes you up the Athabasca Glacier. Later, take a coach from the Discovery Centre to the Glacier Skywalk, a glass-floored observation platform over the Sunwapta Valley for an unobstructed view of the surrounding glaciers. Later, continue driving along the Parkway to the Crowfoot Glacier, Peyto Lake and Bow Lake en route to Lake Louise.

Arrive in Lake Louise and check in at the accommodation.

Day 10 : Lake Louise - Banff

After breakfast, spend your morning at leisure and enjoy the charms of beautiful Lake Louise.

Lake Louise, known for its turquoise, glacier-fed lake ringed by high peaks and overlooked by a stately chateau. Take part in some adventure activities like kayaking and hiking or indulge in some downtime at the spa. You can also go on a gondola ride over Lake Louise and witness some panoramic views.

Later in the day, drive to Banff. On arrival, check-in at hotel and explore the famous Banff Avenue.

Day 11 : Banff

Spend the day exploring Banff.

The resort town of Banff is set amongst the towering mountains of Rundle, Tunnel, Cascade, and Norquay. Visit Bow Falls, Tunnel Mountain Drive, Surprise Corner, Hoodoos, Two Jack Viewpoint. Also visit Lake Minnewanka, where you can take a boat cruise for one hour which portraits the wildlife and vegetation, including the Devil’s gap, at the foothills of the Rockies.

A ride on the Banff Gondola will take you to the summit of Sulphur Mountain for a 360-degree panorama of the Bow Valley.

In the afternoon, hike along one of the groomed trails or stroll through the townsite of Banff for some shopping.

Day 12 : Banff - Calgary

After breakfast, drive to Calgary. On arrival check-in at the hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure or explore the city.

Day 13 : Calgary Departure

Today, spend some time exploring this city famous for its rapid growth as a booming oil economy. Visit the Heritage Park, Fort Calgary, Stampede Park, and Canada Olympic Park.

Later, drive to the airport and drop off your vehicle at the car rental agency. Make your way to the airport to catch your flight back home.
