Day 1 : Port Blair Arrival

Upon arrival at Port Blair airport, a private vehicle will take you to your hotel where you can check in. Later, proceed to Cellular Jail (National Memorial).

The Cellular Jail stands as a dark reminiscence of the British rule in the Indian subcontinent. This dreaded and grueling colonial prison was used by the British particularly to exile Indian political prisoners.

In the evening, witness the Light and Sound Show at Cellular Jail where the saga of the freedom struggle is brought alive.

Day 2 : Port Blair - Havelock Island

After breakfast, proceed to Havelock Island via a cruise ride. Upon reaching Havelock, transfer to the hotel and check-in.

Havelock is a serene tropical island encompassing about 86 square kilometers. Its clear waters are rated among the best in the world for snorkeling and scuba diving. Close to 1000 different species of marine life inhabit the waters of the Andaman Islands. Scuba divers can see nudibranchs, sea slugs and snails, varieties of ghost pipefish, jawfish and a number of different crustaceans of all shapes and sizes. With its serene beaches, 40 meters visibility underwater, colorful coral reefs and ‘far from the maddening crowd’ appeal, Havelock Island has emerged as a dream destination among discerning travelers

Day 3 : Havelock Island

Today after breakfast, visit Elephant Beach.

Elephant Beach offers beautiful white sand beaches along with amazing coral reefs that start at a depth of less than a meter; a sight that isn’t common over the globe.

Some of the most popular attractions around the beach include swimming, fishing, kayaking and an array of other super exciting water sports. You can also explore the famous underwater world and see some of the most exciting marine life, like the famous coral reefs, turtles, sea anemones, as well as many other types of colorful fish.

Day 4 : Havelock Island – Port Blair

After breakfast, proceed to Port Blair via boat cruise. En route, visit Ross Island.

Ross Island was the capital of Port Blair during the British regime and today, it houses ruins of the buildings that were built during the British time. A small museum displays photographs and other antiques of the Britishers, relevant to these islands. The island is also famous for friendly flocks of deer and lush green walking trails.

Day 5 : Port Blair – Diglipur

Today, depart from Port Blair and proceed to Diglipur Island by road.

You will pass through dense tropical forests and the Jarawa Tribal Reserve. You are also likely to see a member of the Jarawa Tribe while passing through the tribal reserve. On your journey, you will take the route of the Andaman Grand Trunk road that passes through Baratang Island, Rangat & Mayabunder.

Once you arrive in Diglipur, check in at the hotel and enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure.

Day 6 : Diglipur

Today, visit the heart of Diglipur, Ross and Smith Island.

There two Islands are separated by a sand bar and it is a treat to see and experience. Spend your day enjoying the turquoise waters and walk on the sand bar that adjoins both Ross and Smith Island. On your way back, visit Aerial bay beach, which is one of the turtle nesting grounds in Diglipur

Day 7 : Diglipur – Rangat

Today, depart from Diglipur and proceed to Rangat by road. Upon reaching Rangat, check in at the accommodation.

Visit Amkunj beach and Dhannilah Mangrove Walkway in Rangat. This walkway is for around 720 meter, which was created by clearing creeks and Mangrove trees.

Day 8 : Diglipur

Today, cover all the attractions in Baratang Island as you visit both, the limestone Caves and the mud volcano.

Drive past mangroves which will lead you to the starting point of the trek that takes you through dense forests to see the limestone caves. These limestone caves are made from mineral calcite (calcium carbonate).

Next, visit the mud volcanoes. These small muddy craters are created by natural gases emitted by decaying organic matter present underground that push the mud upwards. Although this is not a visually stunning sight, Andaman is one of the few places in the world where these mud volcanoes are found. 

Once your return back to the hotel, check out and proceed to Port Blair. On arrival, check-in.

Day 9 : Port Blair Departure

Today, a private vehicle will transfer you to Port Blair airport where you can catch your flight back home.
