Day 1 : Srinagar Arrival

Upon arrival at Srinagar airport, a private vehicle will transfer you to your houseboat at Dal Lake.

Dal Lake comprises of a series of water bodies, including the Nagin Lake. You can take in the panoramic view of the mountains surrounding Srinagar from this lake.

Later in the evening, enjoy a visit to Mughal Gardens followed by a Shikara-ride on Dal Lake. Kashmiri boats are called Shikara and are used to explore the intricate maze of waterways on this lake.

Day 2 : Srinagar - Pahalgam

Today after breakfast, a private vehicle will transfer you to Pahalgam.

Pahalgam is famously known as the Valley of Shepherds. It is also famous for some trekking routes and is the base camp for the Amarnath Pilgrimage. Walk along the banks of River Lidder to admire the beauty of nature.

Day 3 : Pahalgam

Today after breakfast, spend the day exploring Pahalgam.

The route that you will be going on is picturesque with ample campsites. Start with Aru Valley, which is a small village, upstream of the Lidder River. This village is the starting point for treks to the Kolahoi glacier.

Later, visit Chandanwari, which is the starting point of sacred Amarnath Yatra. Chandanwari is famous for snow sledding on a snow bridge. Next, you can visit Hajan, which is an idyllic picnic spot. Later, visit Betaab valley that gets its name from the Bollywood movie, ‘Bettab’. Sprawling fertile pastures, snow-capped mountains, and meandering streams are characteristic of this valley and add to the aesthetic appeal of this place.

Day 4 : Pahalgam – Gulmarg (130 kms / appro...

After breakfast, a private vehicle will transfer you to Gulmarg.

Gulmarg is also known as the ‘Meadow of Flowers’ and is situated at an altitude of 2730 meters. Once you arrive in Gulmarg, check in at the hotel and spend your day at leisure. Don’t miss out on taking a leisurely walk on the lush green meadows of flowers with a backdrop of the snow-capped mountains.

Day 5 : Gulmarg - Srinagar

Today after breakfast, enjoy the local sightseeing of Gulmarg and Gondola-ride (cable car).

Later, drive back to Srinagar. Once you arrive in Srinagar, check in at the accommodation and enjoy the evening at leisure.

Day 6 : Srinagar

After breakfast, proceed for a full day excursion to Sonmarg.

Sonmarg is also known as the Meadow of Gold. It is a hill station in Ganderbal district in the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir about 80 km north-east of Srinagar. It is famous for it for its stunning natural beauty that includes a gushing river that flows down to this meadow from snowy heights into the dense woodlands of firs and silver birches. Glaciers pour down from this stream from the Himalayas onto the many camping sites in Sonmarg.

Sonmarg also offers adventure in the form of treks, sledging, angling, alpine skiing, and white water rafting.  You can visit Thajiwas Glacier, which is an exquisite beauty situated 3000 m above sea level covered in snow all through the year. If you’re feeling adventurous, trek your way to the glacier or opt for a pony ride.

Later return to Srinagar for dinner & overnight stay in houseboat.

Day 7 : Srinagar Departure

After breakfast, a private vehicle will transfer you to Srinagar airport to catch your flight back home.
