Today explore Phnom Penh on a full day city tour.
Start your tour by visiting the Royal Palace, the residence of Cambodian kings. An interesting part of the Royal Palace is the incredible Silver Pagoda where the floor is made from thousands of silver tiles. Next, proceed to the Raung Damrei Museum and visit Wat Phnom pagoda, a 15th century stupa. Wat Phnom is a small hill crowned by an active wat (pagoda) and marks the legend of Phnom Penh City.
In the afternoon, visit the places connected with sad part of the country’s history – the times of Khmer Rouge regime. First visit Tuol Sleng. Then visit – Choeung Ek, known as “the Killing Fields”. It is a place where over 10,000 people were executed. The remains of some of them are kept in a memorial to remind people of the atrocities the Khmer Rouge inflicted on other Khmers.
Return to Phnom Penh and spend the rest of the day at leisure. You can wander through the lively streets of this bustling city or sip a cup of coffee in one of its trendy cafes

After breakfast, spend the full day discovering the famous Angor Wat.
Travel back to the 12th-century Khmer Empire and explore the magnificent monuments of Angkor Wat, where the temple complex tells the Hindu and Buddhist history of the ancient city. Cross the moat and marvel at the towering outer wall. Wander along the rectangular galleries and get up close to the bas-reliefs carved into the sandstone walls.
Continue to Angkor Thom to explore the last capital city of the Khmer Empire. Admire the stone figures that greet you at the southern gates, and then stroll towards the Bayon temple to admire its upper terrace and the etchings of smiling faces at its central peak. Visit the Terrace of the Leper King and Terrace of the Elephants.
Enjoy lunch before visiting the iconic temple of Ta Prohm, world-famous for the remains of temples with trees growing out of the ruins. Watch the sunset at the Pre Rup temple before getting dropped off at your hotel in Siem Reap

After breakfast, proceed for a day trip to Phnom Kulen
Visit the sacred peak of Kulen Mountain and explore the natural landscapes of the surrounding Phnom Kulen National Park. Take in the views from the mountaintop, admire the 16th-century reclining Buddha statue, and hike to Kulen Waterfall.
Phnom Kulen, an impressive sandstone plateau in this otherwise flat area. The mountain is considered the birthplace of the Khmer empire and is thus a popular pilgrimage site for locals. Travel to the top and learn about the origins of the empire while venturing from temple to temple, many of which are hidden by nature. Continue to the unusual River of 1000 Lingas, a riverbed carved with Hindu gods and other religious symbols. Be amazed at this set of underwater carvings which are around 1000 years old.
Later, head back to Siem Reap for some shopping.
