Day 1 : Hanoi Arrival

Arrive at Hanoi airport and a private vehicle will transfer you to your accommodation. Check in and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 2 : Hanoi

Today explore Hanoi on a City Tour.

Check out major attractions such as the Old Quarter and Lake of the Restored Sword (Hoan Kiem Lake). Learn about the city's history as you visit One Pillar Pagoda, the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the Ho Chi Minh Presidential Palace Historical Site, and the Temple of Literature.

Later, In the afternoon, enjoy a cyclo tour

Pass through the Old Quarter that will provide another fascinating insight into the character and history of the city, before moving on to Dong Xuan Market with its bustling stalls and brisk trading of day-to-day local goods.

Finish the day with a traditional water puppet show.

Water Puppetry is a traditional art form with distinctive culture identity of Vietnam. In early days, water puppetry showed the daily life of villagers such as farming, fishing, romance and children playing. Now, the topics of the plays are also picked from ancient legends, myths and historic stages.

Day 3 : Hanoi – Ha Long Bay

After breakfast, depart for Ha Long Bay, one of the most stunning natural wonders of Vietnam. Arrive at the jetty in Ha Long and hop aboard a luxurious cruise, your accommodation for the night.

One of the most popular tourist attractions in northern Vietnam, Ha Long Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is known for its sparkling emerald waters, more than 1,600 towering limestone islands and islets, caves, and traditional floating villages.

Glide through glittering turquoise waters passing through more than 1,600 limestone islands and islets and traditional floating villages. Stop at a handful of islands and caves where you can enjoy a more in-depth experience by indulging in outdoor activities like snorkelling and kayaking.

Towards the end of the day, the boat sets anchor for the night amongst the karst formations.

Day 4 : Ha Long Bay – Ho Chi Minh

Enjoy breakfast in the middle of the Bay as the cruise makes its way back to the port.

Disembark from the cruise and make your way to Hanoi airport from where you will catch a flight to Ho Chi Minh. Upon arrival in Ho Chi Minh, transfer to the accommodation and check in. Rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 5 : Ho Chi Minh

After breakfast, visit the famous Cu Chi Tunnels.

An incredible underground tunnel network was constructed by Vietnamese resistance fighters during the long struggle for independence. The tunnels, over 250km in length and up to three levels deep in places, played a huge part in the Viet Cong’s victory over the Americans, allowing them to control a large rural area surrounding Ho Chi Minh City.

After lunch, proceed for Ho Chi Minh City Tour

Ho Chi Minh City is Vietnam’s largest city, but this tour takes in all the highlights in just one afternoon. Visit historic sites including the Reunification Palace, the Central Post Office, and Notre Dame Cathedral; learn more about the Vietnam War at the War Remnants Museum, admire the magnificent Jade Emperor Pagoda, and browse the stalls at Ben Thanh Market.

Day 6 : Ho Chi Minh

After breakfast, depart for the southern economic hub of Ho Chi Minh City to the area referred locally as ‘the rice bowl of Vietnam’ – the mighty river Mekong’s delta.

Arrive in My Tho and take a leisurely boat ride along the river. View the stilt houses, fruit plantations and fishing villages along the river bank. Proceed to Tortoise islet where you will have lunch in the orchard garden. Then, take a boat ride to An Khanh – a less touristy attraction in Ben Tre. Enjoy cruising on a hand-rowed sampan under the shadow of the water coconut trees along natural canals. Enjoy seasonal fruit & honey tea to the sound of southern Vietnamese folk music performed by locals. Later, visit a family business which epitomizes the idyllic rural lifestyle. Taste the delicious coconut candy & observe the pastoral life as you roam through the fruit plantation and village.
